Need smoke or heat alarms fitted, replaced or added to an existing system? We install alarms for homes and rental properties, checking the layout, equipment and power arrangements so we can discuss a suitable installation with you.

How we can help / 01
Not sure whether you need a smoke alarm or a heat alarm in a particular room? We can talk through the options and suitable positions for your property. The devices detect different signs of fire, so a kitchen and a hallway may need different types of alarm.
Discuss nuisance alarms as well as missing coverage. A device that repeatedly activates during normal cooking may need its type or position reviewed rather than being disabled. Share the layout and existing alarm locations so the installation can be considered as a whole.
How we can help / 02
Want new alarms to work with the ones already fitted? We'll check the existing equipment, power supply and interlinking arrangements before recommending additions. Compatible linked alarms can alert people beyond the room where a detector activates.
Describe existing models and any previous installation records. We'll assess the wiring and supply arrangements needed for the agreed equipment. Do not assume that a replacement fits an existing base or that products from different systems can be connected together.
How we can help / 03
If you're arranging alarms for a rental property, tell us about the building, tenancy and existing safety arrangements. We'll discuss the installation scope and access with you, taking account of whether it's a family home, shared accommodation or work in common parts.
Arrange tenant access and explain which rooms and existing devices need examination. We install alarms; this work should not be assumed to replace a wider fire risk assessment or every landlord safety responsibility.
How we can help / 04
Call us with your postcode and tell us whether you need new alarms, replacements or additions. We'll arrange an onsite visit to assess the property and prepare a quotation covering the equipment and installation work.
At completion, ask how to test the alarms, what their indicators mean and how power or battery issues are reported. Retain the manufacturer instructions and relevant installation records. Follow the recommended checks and replacement guidance for the installed products, and report faults rather than disabling a detector.
