Want to charge your electric car at home but unsure which charger to choose? We install EV chargers and are happy to recommend a suitable option, looking at your vehicle, parking space and electrical supply before preparing a quotation.

How we can help / 01
The right charger should fit your everyday routine. Tell us what you drive, where you park and when you usually charge, and we'll discuss suitable options. Charging speed also depends on the vehicle, battery state and settings, so a charger's advertised output isn't the whole picture.
A tethered charger has a cable attached; an untethered unit uses a separate cable. Compare reach, storage and ease of use. Discuss app controls and tariff compatibility without assuming that every feature or energy tariff will remain unchanged.
How we can help / 02
Before we install a charger, we'll assess your electrical supply, existing loads and protection. We'll also look at the cable route and mounting position. Having a spare slot in the consumer unit doesn't, on its own, mean the supply is ready for charging.
Some properties need load management, changes to existing wiring or steps involving the network operator. We'll explain anything needed for your installation and include the agreed work in the scope. If you're considering funding, eligibility needs to be checked separately.
How we can help / 03
We'll help you think through a position that's practical to use, with enough cable reach and room to move around the car. The mounting surface, weather exposure and distance from the supply also affect the installation, so we'll review them during the visit.
Shared or rented parking may need permission from the landowner or managing agent. Do not assume a driveway arrangement applies to street parking or plan around a cable trailing across a public footway. Describe the actual site so suitable options can be discussed.
How we can help / 04
Want charging to fit around your routine? We can talk through scheduling and app controls when choosing a charger. The available features and connectivity vary by product, so it's worth deciding what you'll use day to day before buying.
Private-use chargepoints sold in Great Britain are covered by smart-chargepoint regulations, subject to their scope and exemptions. Equipment selection needs to reflect current requirements. Smart functionality is not a guarantee of a fixed energy saving or compatibility with every tariff.
How we can help / 05
Give us a call with your postcode and parking details. We'll arrange an onsite visit, assess the installation and prepare a quotation that sets out the charger, cable route, fitting and any supply changes needed.
We'll explain the relevant testing, certification and any notification requirements for your installation. At handover, ask us about starting and stopping a charge and changing the schedule. Keep the electrical records and product instructions together for future reference.
We'd suggest talking to us first. We can help you check the charger against your vehicle, parking arrangement and installation requirements before you buy it.
No. Any funding needs separate eligibility checks. Charging speed depends on your vehicle, supply and settings; we'll discuss those factors when considering the installation.
